SQL Runner
Overview
The SQL Runner module allows you to execute SQL queries directly within the application. It allows you to run, validate, and analyze SQL statements against the connected database without requiring external database tools.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Database | Specifies the database. |
| Schema | Specifies the schema. |
| See Table Schema | Displays the table schema or views created in Dreamio for the table. |
| Query Tab | Area where queries can be entered. |
| Run | Runs the query. |
| Limit | Specifies the limit of the number of records displayed by the query. |
| Timer | Records how long the query ran. |
| Save | Saves the query. The query can also be saved as a dataset. |
| Copy Link | Copies the link to the query. The query must be saved before the query can be copied. |
| Results | Displays the results of an executed query. |
| Query History | Displays the history of a query. |
| Preview | Displays the result when the table schema is selected from the left panel. |
Create a query
To create a new tab for a query, click on the
button next to the query tab.
Update a query
Select a tab to view and edit its details. After you make the modifications, click the Save button.
Additional menu
Click the menu next to Copy Link to view and interact with the following:

| Render HTML | Activiates or deactivates the render of the query as HTML. |
| Autocomplete | Activiates or deactivates the autocompletion of the query. |
| Format SQL | Formats the query. |
| Keyboard shortcuts | Displays the keyboard shortcuts. |
