Data Access

Overview

The Data Access subject area is used to define and control which data entities a user or role can access within the system. It specifies access rules that determine visibility and interaction with records such as accounts, customers, divisions, or financial transactions. Each data access record typically includes the entity type, access level, and the user or role it applies to.

Conforming Layers

The conforming layers of this subject area are the following:

DAR_OBJ

Column Description Data Type Data Length
DAR_CD Unique identifier for the data access role (DAR) defined in the system. VARCHAR 12
DESCR Description of the data access role, retrieved in the appropriate system language for reporting and display purposes. VARCHAR 60
CDC_LOAD_DTTM Timestamp when the record was last processed through Change Data Capture (CDC) for synchronization. TIMESTAMP
CDC_FLAG Flag indicating whether the record was captured during the Change Data Capture (CDC) process. VARCHAR 1
COMPOSITE_KEY Composite key generated from the DAR code to uniquely identify the record across layers. VARCHAR 12
CREATE_DTTM Date and time when the record was created in the system. TIMESTAMP
UPDATE_DTTM Date and time when the record was last updated. TIMESTAMP

DAR_USR_ACC_GRP_OBJ

Column Description Data Type Data Length
DAR_CD Unique identifier for the data access role (DAR) assigned to users or groups. VARCHAR 12
USER_ID Identifier for the user associated with the data access role, linking user credentials to access permissions. VARCHAR 8
ACCESS_GRP_CD Code representing the access group assigned to the user for the specified data access role. VARCHAR 12
EXPIRE_DT Date and time when the assigned access role for the user is set to expire. TIMESTAMP
CDC_LOAD_DTTM Timestamp when the record was last processed through Change Data Capture (CDC) for synchronization. TIMESTAMP
CDC_FLAG Flag indicating whether the record was captured during the Change Data Capture (CDC) process. VARCHAR 1
COMPOSITE_KEY Composite key generated by combining DAR code, User ID, and Access Group code to uniquely identify the record. VARCHAR 32
CREATE_DTTM Timestamp when the record was created in the conforming layer. TIMESTAMP
UPDATE_DTTM Timestamp when the record was last updated in the conforming layer. TIMESTAMP
