Start using DIH

Start the web server

Start the web application server as a background task.

bin/startws

Check the webserver log file in the logs directory for any errors.

Connect to the web application

In your browser, navigate to http://<host>:<port> and verify that the login works.

Currently, only the Chrome and Firefox browsers are supported.

Start the runtime server

To test the connectivity, you must start the runtime server using the following command:

Shut down processes

Shut down executables

To shut down the Java executables, you must terminate their operating system processes.

For Linux or Unix systems, a script called bin/lps is available to list the active DIH processes. You can run this script by executing the following command:

bin/lps

After running the script, use the kill command for each process listed to terminate them.

Shut down SSO server

When you execute the bin/lps command as previously described, the SSO provider server will be displayed if it is currently running. However, the SSO provider has its own lps shell script located in the sso/bin directory, and it will only show any active SSO server processes when run.
