Start using DIH
Start the web server
Start the web application server as a background task.
bin/startws
Check the webserver log file in the logs directory for any errors.
Connect to the web application
In your browser, navigate to http://<host>:<port> and verify that the login works.
Currently, only the Chrome and Firefox browsers are supported.
Start the runtime server
To test the connectivity, you must start the runtime server using the following command:
bin/startrt
After starting the server, check the rtserver log file located in the logs directory for any errors.
DIH is a server-based application designed to poll for DIH task requests and execute them on a single runtime server cluster. It is important to note that starting multiple, disconnected runtime servers that are connected to the same database schema but not joined to the same Hazelcast cluster can lead to multiple polling agents all attempting to poll the same task queue. This situation can result in unpredictable outcomes.
This scenario will be addressed in a future version. Until then, please ensure that you run only one runtime server cluster per DIH database schema.
