Install using dih-installer
Overview
The DIH installer script will guide you through the installation process. You do not need to follow any steps described in the Manual installation.
The dih-installer is provided as a zip file, dih-installer.zip and contains the following files:
dih-installer.py— Python script used to install DIH.create-user-template.sql— Database user creation template.dih-installer.response.example— Sample response file for automated install. For more information, seeResponse File.
Install DIH
To install DIH using the dih-installer, follow these steps. To cancel the installation at any stage, press Ctrl+C.
Arguments are optional. If not provided, the script will prompt for them. A new
logs folder is created in the installation directory for each execution of the installer.
- Create a directory for DIH.
mkdir -p /opt/dih/installer
- Unzip the
dih-installer.zipto a directory.
unzip /var/tmp/dih-installer.zip -d /opt/dih/installer
- Change the directory.
cd /opt/dih/installer
- Execute the script.
python3 dih-installer.py <zip-file-location> new
