Individual TIN Registration

There are two types of tax identification number (TIN) you can register for: an individual TIN and a business TIN.

Taxpayer Details

To register for an individual TIN, follow these steps:

1. In the popup window, click Individual TIN Registration.

2. Select a registration type in the Registration Type dropdown.

   • Application Received
   • Online Registration

3. Select a language in the Language of Correspondence dropdown.

4. Tick the corresponding checkbox applicable to your registration.

   • Sole Trader - You own and operate a business without any partners or shareholders.
   • Special Group - You belong to a special group, such as VAT taxpayers, non-VAT taxpayers, large taxpayers, or top withholding agents.
   • HNWI - You are a High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) or you have liquid assets worth millions.
   • Estate Late - You have an overdue estate tax return or tax.

   Selecting **Estate Late** will require a decease date. Enter the decease date in the **Decease Date** field.
   

5. Enter values in the following mandatory fields:

   • First Name - Your first name.
   • Surname - Your surname.
   • Date of Birth - Your birthday.
   • Passport Number - Your passport number.
   • Passport Expiry Date - The expiry date of your passport.
   • Country of Issuance - The country where your passport came from.

5. Select your gender.

6. Click Browse.

7. Select your passport in the file explorer.

8. Click the Open button.

9. Review the uploaded files. To review an uploaded file, click View. To view an uploaded file, click . To delete an uploaded file, click .

10. Click the Upload button in the List of Files popup.

11. Click the Cancel button to close the popup.

Business Details

The Business Details section is required for a Sole Trader taxpayer. To continue your individual registration for a Sole Trader, follow these steps:

1. Enter values in the following mandatory fields:

• Trade Name - The name of your business.
• License Number - The unique identifier your business top operate.
• Grant Number - The unique identifier assigned to your business for taaxation.
• BIN - The bank identification number connected to your business.
• Permit Number - The permit number issued to your business.
• Commencement Date - The date when your business officially started.

2. Select an International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) section from the ISIC Section dropdown. The following are the possible values:

• Agricultural, Forestry and Fishing
• Mining and Quarrying
• Manufacturing
• Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply
• Water Supply; Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation Activities
• Construction
• Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles
• Transportation and Storage
• Accommodation and Food Service Activities
• Information and Communication
• Financial and Insurance Activities
• Real Estate Activities
• Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities
• Administrative and Support Service Activities
• Public Administration and Defence; Compulsory Social Security
• Education
• Human Health and Social Work Activities
• Arts, Entertainment and Recreation
• Other Service Activities
• Activities of Households as Employers; Undifferentiated Goods and Services producing Activities of Households for Own Use
• Activities of Extraterritorial Organization and Bodies

3. Select an ISIC division from the ISIC Division dropdown. The following are the possible values:

6. Click the Browse button.

7. Select your license in the file explorer.

8. Click the Open button.

9. Review the uploaded files. To review an uploaded file, click View. To view an uploaded file, click . To delete an uploaded file, click .

10. Click the Upload button in the List of Files popup.

11. Click the Cancel button to close the popup.

12. Select a department from the Department dropdown.

13. Tick the Individual Farmer checkbox if you are an individual farmer. Otherwise, leave the checkbox blank.

Secondary Business Nature

You can add multiple secondary business natures to your business.

1. Click the Add button before the Secondary Business Nature section.

2. Select an ISIC section from the ISIC Section dropdown.

3. Select an ISIC division from the ISIC Division dropdown.

4. Select an ISIC group from the ISIC Group dropdown.

5. Select an ISIC class from the ISIC Class dropdown.

6. Enter a secondary business nature in the Secondary Business Nature field.

7. Click the Save button.

Once you have added an item, it will be displayed in a table. Each item will have its own row, displaying the TIN, company name, and amount. To edit the details, click . To remove an item, click .

Tax Types

Select tax types applicable to the individual TIN and/or business connected to the individual TIN.

Bank Details

To add bank details to your TIN registration, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add button.

2. Select a country from the Country of Bank dropdown.

3. Enter values in the following mandatory fields:

• Branch Name - The branch where you registered for your bank account.
• Swift Code - A unique alphanumeric code used to identify a specific bank or financial institution in international bank transfers.
• Bank Code - A unique identification code assigned to financial institutions by a supervisory body.
• Account holder's name - The name registered on your bank account.
• Name of Bank - The name of the bank.
• Branch Code - The unique identifier assigned to the bank branch you entered in the Branch Name field.
• Account Number - The unique identifier assigned by the branch to your bank account.

4. Tick the Valid for Refund Payments if the bank accepts refund payments. Otherwise, leave the checkbox blank.

5. Click the Browse button.

6. Select your bank attachment in the file explorer.

7. Click the Open button.

8. Click the Preview & Upload button to view or edit attachments.

9. Review the uploaded files. To review an uploaded file, click . To delete an uploaded file, click .

10. Click the Save button.

Contact Details

Enter values in the following mandatory fields:

• Email Address
• Mobile Country Code
• Mobile Telephone Number

Physical Address

1. Select a status from the Proprietor Status dropdown.

2. Enter your address in the Address fields.

3. Select a country from the Country dropdown.

4. Click the Browse button.

5. Select your proof of address in the file explorer.

6. Click the Open button.

7. Review the uploaded files. To review an uploaded file, click View. To view an uploaded file, click . To delete an uploaded file, click .

8. Click the Upload button in the List of Files popup.

9. Click the Cancel button to close the popup.

12. Tick the Is the Postal Address same as the Physical Address? if the postal address is the same as the physical address. Otherwise, leave the checkbox blank and enter your postal address in the Postal Details section.

Telephone Number Details

To enter a telephone number, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add button under the Telephone Number Details section.

2. Select a type from the Telephone Type dropdown.

3. Select a country code from the Telephone Number Country Code dropdown.

4. Enter your telephone number in the Telephone Number field.

5. Enter your email address in the Email Adress field.

6. Click the Save button.

7. Click the Check Duplicates button to check if you have added a number that has already been added.

Once you have added an item, it will be displayed in a table. Each item will have its own row, displaying the TIN, company name, and amount. To edit the details, click . To remove an item, click .

Establishment

To enter an establishment, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add button under the Establishment section.

2. Enter the name of the establishment in the Trade Name field.

3. Enter the address of your business in the Address 1 field.

4. Select a region from the Region dropdown.

5. Select a town from the Town dropdown.

6. Tick the Physical Address is the same as Postal Address checkbox if the establishment address is the same as the postal address. Otherwise, enter the postal details.

7. Click the Add Entry button.

8. Enter an email address in the Email Address field.

9. Select a type from the Telephone Type dropdown.

10. Select a country code from the Country Code dropdown.

11. Enter a contact number in the Telephone Number field.

12. Click the button.

13. Click the Save button.

Once you have added an item, it will be displayed in a table. Each item will have its own row, displaying the TIN, company name, and amount. To edit the details, click . To remove an item, click .

Relationship

To enter a relative, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add button under the Relationship section.

2. Select a relationship from the Relationship dropdown.

3. Enter the name of the relative in the Name field.

4. Enter the address of the relative in the Address 1 and Address 2 fields.

5. Enter the town where the relative lives in the Town field.

6. Enter the TIN of the relative in the TIN field.

7. Enter the email address of the relative in the Email Address field.

8. Click the Add Entry button.

9. Select a telephone type from the Telephone Type dropdown.

10. Select a country code from the Country Code dropdown.

11. Enter the contact number of the relative in the Telephone Number field.

12. Click the button.

13. Click the Save button.

Once you have added an item, it will be displayed in a table. Each item will have its own row, displaying the TIN, company name, and amount. To edit the details, click . To remove an item, click .

Submitting the registration

After filling the fields in the registration form, you can now submit your registration. To submit your registration, follow these steps:

1. Click the Check Form button.

2. Tick the The information supplied in this return is, to the best of my knowledge, true and correct. checkbox.

3. Click Submit.
